jazz sur PSG E9th

Hi.
This link is me playing Bluesette, the classic jazz waltz, in E9th tuning. I was wondering if any of you forum members also plays jazz in this tuning, or all you all in C6? Or an other tuning?

Belle performance en tous cas, et sur une Maverick!.
Cela me rappelle un peu les exploits de Koos Biel qui était parvenu à émuler Buddy Emmons sur un E9. C'est en partie cela qui lui a valu d'être le premier étranger invité à St-Louis.
Je possède la version de Doug Jernigan qui me semble jouée sur le C6.
Cependant, je trouve que le E9 (joué comme sur cette vidéo) ne permet pas de remplir suffisement, notamment dans le deuxième thème (en staccato) et a parfois tendance à sonner un peu "mince".
Mais je reconnais que le jazz, c'est pas tout à fait ma tasse de thé

i too Jan, will congratulate you on this -
it is rewarding for those who don't understand that Jazz can be played on the E9 tuning & a on a maverick to boot
in my case, it's easier for me to play jazz on the C6 neck
which does'nt mean that i don't on E9
it's just a bit more complicated to execute certain altered chords on it
whereas melodies & solos can be obtainable
