I will attempt to post in French when I can ...my French is Ok , but not great!
I live in Hyde, a suburb of Manchester .
I play acoustic steel , currently in a trio called the Hula Hotclub.
Usually I’m to be heard on a 1929 national Tricone, but sometimes on a 1936 Gélas Hawaiian guitar.
I started playing about 15 years, back then it was bluegrass dobro which I aspired to .
Now I play mostly Hawaiian music and 1920s pop/jazz .
As well as playing steel I have a small record label “ Grass Skirt Records” on which I re-issue long forgotten treasures of the acoustic steel, such as Sam Ku West and Sol Hoopii .
A few weeks ago our 3rd CD was issued , this one by my steel guitar hero the great Gino Bordin .
